Description
Research
- Promotes Nasal Breathing: Mouth taping encourages nasal breathing during sleep, which increases nitric oxide production, enhancing oxygen uptake and reducing snoring (Nasal nitric oxide in man, The Lancet, 1999).
- Improves Sleep Quality: By preventing mouth breathing, mouth taping reduces dryness in the mouth and throat, leading to fewer sleep disruptions and deeper sleep cycles (The effects of nasal versus oral breathing on sleep, Sleep and Breathing, 2015).
- Enhances Recovery and Reduces Fatigue: Mouth taping optimizes CO₂ tolerance, improving oxygen delivery to tissues, which supports better recovery and reduces morning fatigue (The role of breathing in sleep quality and recovery, Journal of Applied Physiology, 2010).
